The Phase III of the Shanghai Bioenergy Recycling Project is located in Laogang Town, Pudong New Area. Currently, its main processing objects are wet waste, including food waste from restaurants and household kitchen waste. Its service area covers the central urban area of Shanghai and the southern area of Pudong New Area.

Our company undertakes the special hoisting construction for the dry anaerobic tanks of the high-concentration anaerobic digestion system of this project. It consists of the cones of 12 steel structure tanks with a diameter of 15 meters and a height of 30 meters as well as several connecting corridors. The total solid weight of each dry anaerobic tank is more than 200 tons. The total amount of steel used in the entire project reaches more than 2,200 tons, and it covers an area of approximately 5,500 square meters. 

The main process of this project adopts the process of "pretreatment + anaerobic digestion to produce biogas for power generation". The main process systems of the whole plant include: the pretreatment system for kitchen waste, the oil extraction system, the low/high concentration anaerobic digestion systems, the biogas power generation system, the deodorization system and so on.

After 90 days of hard work, the reinforcing rings and cones of the 12 dry anaerobic tanks have been completed with riveting and welding and then hoisted and fixed onto the foundations. Ten of the tank bodies have completed the riveting and welding on the ground, and the remaining two have completed the riveting and welding on the tank tops. The whole construction project is expected to be completed in April 2024.
